Home Ownership Opportunities for City Employees
When: October 18, 2007
Time: 12:00 AM
- 5:00 PM
The Atlanta Police Foundation (APF) in partnership with Atlanta Development Authority (ADA) and the City of Atlanta Bureau of Housing hosted an Atlanta Housing Fair in the City Hall Atrium on October 18, 2007 from 12 until 5 PM. All employees from the City of Atlanta, Fulton County and Atlanta Public Schools were invited. This free event was also open to the public. The housing fair was organized as part of the City’s workforce housing initiative. Its purpose is to inform and educate the City’s workforce about down payment assistance programs, free housing counseling programs, mortgage lending products and in-town affordable for-sale housing stock in the City of Atlanta. Housing counselors and realtors help make certain that buyers understand the home buying process and get the help they need to become home owners in the city where they work and play.
