(June 4, 2025) — Crime Stoppers of Greater Atlanta (CSGA) hosted its third multi-jurisdictional training luncheon recently, continuing its push to grow regional participation and raise awareness of its public safety impact across Northern Georgia.
The event brought together around 250 public safety professionals from a broad range of agencies at the Governor’s Gun Club in Kennesaw.
The training focused on equipping agencies with the tools to maximize the effectiveness of Crime Stoppers, including tips on anonymous reporting, case management and the P3 platform, all designed to strengthen cross-agency coordination and increase successful outcomes.
“Crime Stoppers is more than a tool, it builds trust and helps solve crimes,” said Joshua Chavez, Director of Interagency Programs at the Atlanta Police Foundation. “Training ensures more agencies can use it effectively to protect their communities.”
CSGA’s platform has become an increasingly vital tool for law enforcement agencies, not just in Atlanta, but across the Northern region, offering a trusted and anonymous platform that strengthens collaboration between law enforcement and the community to help close cases and prevent future crimes.
“We have to activate the community, they consistently hold the critical information we need to solve crimes and keep neighborhoods safe,” said Darin Schierbaum, Chief of Police for the City of Atlanta.
As interest in the program grows, events like this luncheon are essential to scaling impact. Participating agencies left with valuable insights and strengthened relationships, key ingredients for building safer communities together.
CSGA remains committed to expanding its reach, continuing to grow its footprint and deepening its role in crime prevention throughout more areas than Northern Georgia by strengthening partnerships with regional law enforcement agencies.
